Bruce Pascoe is an Australian Indigenous writer of Bunurong, Yuin and Tasmanian heritage. He has worked as a teacher, a farmer, a fisherman and an Aboriginal language researcher. He’s an award-winning writer, editor and anthologist, who has written 27 books. His book Fox a Dog won the 2013 Prime Minister’s Award for Young Adult Literature, and his non-fiction book Dark Emu won the 2016 NSW Premier’s Book of the Year.
