Fay Anderson is a media historian in the School of Media, Film and Journalism at Monash University. She has published widely on war journalism, genocide, photography, and violence. Fay Anderson and Richard Trembath’s book Witnesses to War: The History of Australian Conflict Reporting, was published in 2011. Shooting the Picture: Press Photography in Australia, by Fay Anderson and Sally Young, will be published by MUP in August 2016.
